Charisma Carpenter


 Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23, 1970. [1] She played Cordelia Chase in the series of supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also starred as Kyra in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas in Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013), and Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012 ).

 



 

  Carpenter was the daughter of Christine Carpenter (a bird sanctuary worker, and Don Carpenter (a salesman) She was born in Las Vegas. She is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter attended the Bishop Gorman high school in Las Vegas.[6She was an active member of a dance troupe that was a part of Las Vegas Valley at nine years.

 



 

  When Carpenter was 15, her family moved to Rosarito Beach, Baja California Mexico[2] and later relocated to San Diego, California. She went to Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter went on a trip across Europe after graduating. Carpenter returned to San Diego and worked in the video store, as an aerobics teacher, and property management. In 1991 she was working as a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team, In 1992, she moved to Los Angeles.

 



 

  Henry Hubbard Jr. was a former San Diego officer and serial criminal who tried to control her and two of her male companions when they were swimming in San Diego in 1991. In the course of the battle that ensued, her two friends and Hubbard were killed, forcing Hubbard to flee the scene and both of them survived the assault. Hubbard was taken into custody and sentenced to 55 years of prison for a series of sexual assaults. Carpenter removed Hubbard's flashlight one of the police's flashlights, from the beach. He had left it at the scene. The flashlight proved to be a crucial piece of evidence in the case against Hubbard.

 



 

  Carpenter was named No. Carpenter was ranked No. 31 on AskMen's top 99 Desirable Women 2002[3031. 44 on their list for 2005. Carpenter stated that she doesn't think of herself as a sex icon despite this. Carpenter was included on the cover of the magazine and in a tenpage nude pictorial in the June 2004 issue. People magazine asked Carpenter in 2005 if she'd ever pose again for Playboy. Carpenter said "I don't know." Playboy was something I chose to do with a purpose. Playboy was not only an excellent financial choice, but also a great option for my life circumstance. My son was about to be born and I'd gained 50 pounds in the course of my pregnancy. I was looking to return to my old self. I wanted to be at ease and attractive. I thought: "What if you went all out?"
